PreCalculus
Work thru #109/110 p. 389. Allow students to work problem and make mistakes along the way (not hard to do - this is a fairly difficult problem.) Once answer is reached, check it with book's answer in back. Sub in value if the equations don't match in order to see if they are truly different or merely different versions of the same answer. Use solutions manual at that point to find error in problem. Correct problem from that point to arrive at solution. Discuss source or error and how to avoid similar mistakes in future problems. Discuss using a solutions manual to simply copy problems versus using it as a learning tool.

Work out problems from CH 05 quiz from yesterday... last nights homework p.390 (4,7,18)
Take care to note how functions like the Tangent have a period of pi... and when evaluated over 0-to-2pi radians solution will repeat at +pi.
Note when you can use the Unit Circle to find solutions and when you should use the inverse trig functions on the calculator. Note how to take a decimal answer and convert to a rational number with pi multiplier.
Explain common mistakes made and allow students to correct for extra credit.
Re-take Quiz with new problems... p.390 (8, 21)

Look at the following videos and discuss... the "mysteries of Zero" etc...
